Supporting Salmon Gold
We teamed up with Regeneration—a restoration and re-mining enterprise backed by the non-profit RESOLVE—to bring nature-positive minerals to our products. Using regenerative methods, the initiative cleans up and repairs legacy and abandoned mines while rehabilitating critical salmon habitats and waterways and ecosystems.
Our Salmon Gold™ pieces are sourced directly from legacy mine sites in Alaska and Yukon Territory. Afterward, the gold is individually batch-refined at a woman-owned Italian refinery before being sent to our jewelers.
The legacy sites we supported in 2023 and 2024 led to a cumulative total of 33.5 acres of upland habitat and 1,650 linear meters of stream have been restored—all progress that contributes to our overarching strategy to be climate positive by 2030.
An initiative from the NGO RESOLVE , Salmon Gold™ produces gold while restoring vital habitat for salmon and other wild species. The partnership re-mines legacy gold mine sites and restores fish habitats using sustainable techniques across Alaska, the Yukon Territory, and British Columbia.
As founding members of Regeneration, we were able to secure the first commercial quantity of 100% traceable, carbon-positive Salmon Gold™. In 2024, we procured approximately 9 kg and transformed this material into a special product collection.
