A Ballet Dancer’s Love Letter to Boston
As a principal with Boston Ballet, Lia Cirio’s career as a professional dancer found its strength on stage, performing for the city's residents and ballet patrons. “Every time I perform for them, I feel their love and appreciation,” she says. “Because I have lived here for so many years now, I feel like a Bostonian at heart, and because of that I think my dancing and performance quality represents the resilience and strength of the city.”
For the launch of Dôme in the City: Boston Edition, our collection of limited-edition Dôme Rings inspired by the cities we call home, Lia shares her art with the city that has been through it all with her—a love letter in movement. Watch below for her ode to the history that she and Boston have made together.
