HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR JEWELRY

Use this guide for care tips by material.

How to Wear

  • The more intentional you are about caring for your jewelry, the longer it will last.

  • Remove your jewellery before doing any activity that risks physical damage.

  • As a general care tip, your jewelry should be the last thing you put on before going out and the first thing you remove upon coming home.

How to Store

  • When not being worn, store in a safe, dry place to protect against the elements of daily exposure.

  • Store pieces separately to avoid damage.

  • Ensure pieces are completely dry before storing.

  • Certain metals, like vermeil and sterling silver, can be prone to tarnishing. Rather than the packaging that came with your purchase, we recommend storing your pieces in our Leather Jewellery Boxes, which are lined with an anti-tarnish microsuede fabric that makes care and cleaning even easier.

14k white gold is created by mixing 58.5% yellow gold with white metals (like silver, manganese, or palladium). The resulting pieces are plated with rhodium, which creates a brilliant white finish and adds a layer of durability.

What to know about wearing 14k white gold jewelry

  • Since 14k white gold has a base metal of yellow gold, it may take on a warmer tone over time as the rhodium finish gradually wears away, especially when exposed to environmental factors.

  • Although 14k white gold pieces are made for everyday wear, we recommend removing them before situations where they may come in contact with chemicals, cleaning products, or sweat. This will help maintain their brilliant white finish.
