Laura, who plays Emma, grew up in Los Angeles in the Los Feliz neighborhood and went to the Waldorf school, then a boarding school for the arts called Walnut Hill. Her first job was a ballerina for the Los Angeles Ballet. She drove a Mini Cooper until she moved to New York to pursue modeling. Now she drives an Audi Sedan, which was her high school dream car. She walked down the aisle at her wedding to an Aphex Twin song- it was beautiful and stoic. Laura recently received her esthetician license and is currently developing her skincare consulting practice.

"The pearl necklace is so meaningful to me. A few years ago, Sam got me this pearl necklace for my birthday and for a while I slept in it, exercised in it, showered in it. Until one night it snapped and broke— I had a full tantrum. I tried to replace it without Sammy knowing but it never happened until today picking out my looks, when I saw the exact necklace!"
