Gorgeous Until the Enamel Starts to Peel, Fade, and Bubble

I absolutely love these earrings. They're one of my favorite pairs. I was thrilled to buy the red hoops very shortly after the Stevie Hoops debuted and was lucky enough to get the second-to-last pair at one of my local Mejuri boutiques. I've worn them normally and cared for them as I should. I've never worn them in water or done anything weird with them. Just worn them as I would any other pair of earrings. Within a handful of weeks and only after a few wears, the red enamel started to appear faded in the places where the hoops touch the sides of my face while I'm wearing them. Shortly after that, the enamel started to peel in one spot and bubble in another. I don't live in an extreme climate, I live in the Bay Area in California (a Mediterranean climate). Again, I don't wear these in water nor do I spray perfume onto them or expose them to anything weird or unusual. I just put them on, wear them throughout the day, and take them off when I get home. For the price, the quality of the enamel is extremely poor and unacceptable and I'm frustrated that normal wear (and so little of it) would take such a toll on these hoops.
