WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
Choosing the right length comes down to where you want the necklace to sit—and how you plan to layer it. Think about the other pieces you wear most, and how each length will fall on your neckline.
Here’s our guide to selecting the right length:
Sits high on the neck. Wear it solo for a clean look, or layer with longer necklaces to create a statement stack.
Falls at the base of the neck and is one of our most popular lengths. A versatile starting point that works with every neckline.
Another common necklace length, medium necklaces are designed to fall on or below the base of the neck. This length is perfect for pairing with your favorite charms and pendants.
Sits just above the chest. Works especially well with open necklines, layered looks, and personalized charms or pendants.

Need a little extra length?
If a style doesn’t fall quite where you want it, our necklace extenders are available in various metals and styles, and offer added flexibility—perfect for adjusting length and playing with layers.
FAQ
Close but comfortable. It should sit snugly without pinching when you turn your head. Use adjustable loops to give yourself a little breathing room.
Vary your lengths by at least 2 inches and mix chain textures or weights. Fasten the shortest layer a bit more snugly—it helps the rest lay flat. Keep in mind, pendants are heavier and more likely to tangle when worn on multiple chains.
Match the weight. Lighter pendants pair best with finer chains, while larger pendants need something sturdier to stay centered and avoid flipping.
Go longer or add an extender. It’s easier to adjust a chain down than add more length.
