FLAT BACK STUDS

Flat back studs are earrings with a smooth, flush-fitting post that ensures comfort and prevents irritation, making them ideal for daily wear. Below you’ll find a quick video on how to put them on.

These studs differ from those that use butterfly backings and have a slightly different process for putting on and removing them. Here’s how:

Find Your Perfect Fit

Every flatback stud comes with two post lengths—5mm and 7mm—so you can find what feels best for you. We recommend 5mm for upper earlobe and cartilage piercings, and 7mm for the earlobe. Thoughtfully designed for a comfortable, secure fit, every time you wear them.

Step 1

Insert the post through the back of your ear.

Step 2

Gently push the post through your piercing until it’s visible in the front.

Step 3

Align the stud with the post. Push the stud onto the post.

Step 4

Make sure it feels snug.

Step 5

To remove, pull apart the stud and the flat back post. It may require some force to pull. You do not need to twist or turn the stud to remove.
