Three Ways to Style Stackable Rings

From the high seas to the sandy beaches of Montauk, model Zippora (Zippy to her friends—and all of Instagram) Seven keeps things light. Because when you live between a beach house and a boat, effortless, everyday stacks are pretty important. We asked her to share three signature looks to sport all summer long, featuring a few of our most stackable rings.

Diving in - The 14k Stack

If you’re by the water, in the water—or in Zippy’s case, live on the water—stick to jewelry that is 14k solid gold. Take note and try experimenting with a mix of textures, like our Braided Ring and Duo Ring, and thicknesses, as with our Signet Ring and Thin Croissant Dôme Ring.

Not only are 14k pieces the perfect, champagne hue, but they’re much less reactant and likely to tarnish because of sand or salt water. And while we’re talking about everyday wear, consider pieces that feature one of the hardest natural substances in the world. (Hint: Starts with a D, ends with “iamond”.)

Backyard Hang - The Mixed Metal Stack

What better season to stop, smell the flowers and show off your stack. Go ahead, slip on a few 14k white gold pieces with your 14k yellow gold, or a little silver with your 18k gold vermeil. Better yet, try mixing textures, thicknesses—and metals. No, it wasn’t an accident. Yes, it looks good. Take it from Zippy (and us), your stack can be simultaneously bold and soft.

Beaching - The Everyday Stack

Whether you’re waving your hands in the air or getting them a bit dirty (i.e. sandy), start simple. A stacker, a signet, a thin dôme and a diamond will do the trick.

And once you’ve mastered the everyday ring stack, there’s room for more on your wrists. Pairing a solid, bolder piece, such as a bangle, with a thinner chain bracelet is really all you need—on both wrists, that is.
