How to Stack like a Stylist
Jillian Vieira knows a thing or two about crafting the perfect outfit du jour. The fashion director, writer, stylist and jill-of-all trades (pun necessary) is sharing her expert knowledge on stacking to the nines. We asked Jillian to break down the perfect homebound ensemble featuring some of our 14k faves.
LOOK 1 – Put it to work
Jillian suggests going for a 9 to 5 look that’s effortless and balanced. “I want to keep it simple with my hands because, as a stylist, I’ll be working with them, so I’m using necklaces to make a big impact with different textures and volume.”
LOOK 2 – Take yourself out (inside)
Whether it’s a living room soirée with your roommate or a dinner date with your partner, Jillian suggests giving that dry-clean-only item its due moment. Pair it with diamonds, personal pieces like your Zodiac and some pearl hoops to complete the romantic look.
LOOK 3 – Loungewear remixed
Give your sweatpants a break and opt for your favorite sweater and denim combo instead. Jillian loves sculptural pieces in different sizes to elevate your couch hang.
